Calcium Tip

Adding Plain Yogurt or Cottage Cheese to you dogs dish is a good source of Calcium. Good for your dogs stomach and bones! Just mix about a 1/2 cup or so with dry food. They love it (anonymous)

Oatmeal Cookies Dog Treat

3 1/2 cup whole wheat flour
2 cup Quaker oats
1 cup milk
1/2 cup hot water
2 beef or chicken bouillon cubes
1/2 cup meat drippings
Dissolve bouillon cubes in hot water. Add milk and drippings and beat. In a separate bowl, mix flour and oatmeal. Pour liquid ingredients into dry ingredients and mix well. Press onto an ungreased cookie sheet and cut into shapes desired. Bake at 300 for 1 hour. Turn off heat and leave in the oven to harden. Refrigerate after baking. - (Jennifer Lancing, Mi.)

Dog Bad Breath Remedy

2 cups brown rice flour
1 Tablespoon activated charcoal (find this at drugstores, not the briquets!)
3 Tablespoons canola oil
1 egg
1/2 cup chopped fresh mint
1/2 cup chopped fresh parsley
2/3 cup lowfat milk
Preheat oven to 400F. Lightly oil a cookie sheet. Combine flour and charcoal. Add all the other ingredients.Drop teaspoonfulls on oiled sheet, about 1 inch apart. Bake 15-20 minutes. Store in airtight container in the refrigerator. (W. Coffman - Wheaton Il)

Doggie Treats

1/2 cup powdered milk
1 tsp. fresh minced garlic or garlic powder
1 Tbsp. Wheat Germ
1 tsp. unsalted beef bullion granules
1 egg
1/2 cup ice water
Directions: Preheat oven to 350. Combine all dry ingredients together in a bowl. Mix in egg & enough ice water for dough to form a ball. Pat or spread until dough is 1/2" thick. Cut into desired shapes, and place on lightly floured pan (Use wheat flour only!) and bake 25 to 35 minutes. Cool & treat your dog. (Marvin - Plattsburg NY)

Doggie Cookies

2cups all-purpose flour
1 1/4 Shreeded cheddar cheese
6 Finely choped green beens
1 Grated apple
1/2cup Veggie oil
7tbWater with boilian
1/2 Baccon bits
Preheat oven ot 400.Add all the ingredients into a bowl.Roll out doe(1/4inch thick and cut out with a cookie cutter.Bast them with some extra boilian and place them into the oven.Let them cook for about 10-15 minutes or untill cheese looks oranger.After cooking bast them again and let them cool.Store in a plastic bag or fridge. Oatmeal Cookie Treats

2 cups rice 2 packages Reg. Flavor oatmeal (mixed w/milk)
1/4 cup molasses
1 cup carrots
1/3 cup spinach
1 1/4 cup flour
1/2 tbsp brown gravy mix
4 tbsp applesauce
1/2 tbsp vegetable oil
Preheat oven to 350degrees Stir Ingredients, but adding flour gradually. Drop on cookie sheet using tsp. Bake 15-20 minutes or until golden brown. Makes approx. 20 cookies. (Jessica M - Girard, Oh)
